Dorset’s two different COVID tier areas are connected by roads, railways and bus routes as well as the ferry, and we continue to advise people to only travel between tiers within Government guidelines. As other public transport companies are doing, the Ferry Company has chosen to remain open to help people that need to travel within the guidelines, as well as the emergency services, get to their destinations. For those that do need to travel, we operate strict COVID safety rules on board for staff and passengers as we have done since May 2020
